As a founder of JP Lotito & Company Mr. Lotito’s vision and expertise has molded our firm’s vocation to be both client focused and risk management oriented. Mr. Lotito has 40 years of experience as an executive, and entrepreneur in the financial services industry and as a corporate strategist, financial advisor and marketer.
He was a Senior Vice President at Kurtz Liebow & Co from 1980 to 1987 and with Dean Witter Reynolds as an Executive from 1987 to 1990. In 1990, he formed Resource Management Group, an innovative wealth management company and in 2001 formed Globex Financial Advisors to service the Public Funds Industry by offering hedge fund strategies to Public Employee Retirement Systems (PERS). In 2007 Globex was expanded into the Access Consulting Group which provided third-party marketing services for small to medium sized asset management firms seeking to participate in investment opportunities on a national basis. Tony’s other accomplishments include contributing to the creation of a trustee education program at Harvard Law School in conjunction with the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems for the advancement of knowledge and the protection of Trustees as they fulfill their fiduciary duties. He has built several successful business enterprises within the financial services industry, most of which service the PERS marketplace. Tony is a regular speaker at many Public Employee Pension conferences on topics such as asset allocation, alternative investments, Trustee fiduciary responsibility and retirement planning issues.
